Vijay-Venkat Prabhu Film ‘The GOAT’: New Poster Hints at Sci-Fi Element

The excitement around Vijay’s upcoming movie, ‘The Greatest of All Time’ (The GOAT), continues to soar with the release of a new poster, fueling speculation about the film’s genre and narrative. Following the revelation of the title and the first look, this second poster amplifies anticipation for what might be a unique science fiction venture.

In this latest glimpse, the poster showcases two Vijays riding a motorcycle, engaging in action-packed sequences. One Vijay appears older and determined, while the other seems digitally generated, hinting at futuristic elements within the storyline. The setting diverges from the conventional, reinforcing the notion of a potential sci-fi narrative. An older Vijay brandishes a pistol while the younger counterpart, seemingly computer-rendered, looks directly at the camera, wielding a machine gun.

Director Venkat Prabhu had previously shared behind-the-scenes images, sparking curiosity among fans. These images hinted at the utilization of innovative technology like Light Stage, known for capturing digital images to create 3D renditions. While the purpose behind incorporating such advanced technology remains undisclosed, Venkat Prabhu’s cryptic caption, “Welcome to the future,” adds to the intrigue surrounding this project.

The initial poster, featuring dual Vijays in skydiving suits, hinted at the possibility of the actor portraying dual roles in the film.

‘The Greatest of All Time,’ initially known as ‘Thalapathy 68,’ is backed by AGS Entertainment and directed by Venkat Prabhu, renowned for his blockbuster hits like ‘Mankatha,’ ‘Goa,’ ‘Saroja,’ ‘Chennai 600028,’ and ‘Maanaadu.’

Yuvan Shankar Raja takes charge of the film’s music composition. Announced in May 2023, the movie is anticipated to hit theatres this year, promising a thrilling cinematic experience.
